Men's Chorus Director: The Big Chicken Chorus, residing in the Marietta area, seeks a Director. Our Chorus and the Marietta chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, are well rounded, having just hosted our 25th annual Christmas show. We are active in the community, with a strong leadership team, and we do a good job of entertaining our audiences. We also dedicate a portion of the fees we earn to support the activities of other charities in our community. This is a paid, part-time position. St. Luke's Episcopal Church in midtown Atlanta has immediate openings for three staff singers - two sopranos and one baritone. Basic responsibilities include rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:30 (two different choirs with similar repertoire) and two Sunday morning services. There would be additional services during Holy Week and other major feast days. You would also have responsibilities during the summer Sundays. Further details are available from the director.
Potential candidates would be required to audition and be prepared to sight-read. Flexibility in vocal styles are an advantage.
